CREATOR MARKETING GUIDE
How to prepare a creator campaign brief
Define goals, deliverables, timeline, budget and content usage terms in a clear campaign brief.
A brief establishes shared understanding
A good brief explains the brand's goals, the work and the information a creator needs to make a proposal. It does not need to script every sentence. Specify essential messages, facts and boundaries while allowing the creator to propose an approach in their own style.
Define the goal and audience
Describe the change you want in one sentence: explaining a new product, introducing a service location or commissioning a content series for your channels. Define the audience's location, language, interests and needs related to the product.
Specify quantities, formats and channels
Instead of asking for a few posts, specify the content type, number, length and publishing destination. Distinguish publishing on the creator's channel from delivering files to the brand.
- Platform and format, such as Instagram Reels
- Content quantity and agreed length
- Filming location and product delivery
- Publishing channel or file delivery
- Revision allowance, feedback and approval sequence
Separate deadlines and budget
List product receipt, first draft, feedback and publication dates separately. Allow time for preparation, filming and revisions. Explain whether the budget is a proposal range or a fixed amount, and which deliverables and usage terms it covers. Confirm it against the creator's final offer.
Provide facts and usage terms
Supply approved product information, links and essential messages. Do not require unsupported results or statements that conflict with the creator's actual experience. Discuss reposting, advertising, editing, source files and competitor restrictions separately before work starts.
From a brief to collaboration on influence.mn
Publish a campaign brief from a Brand account so creators can submit proposals. Compare deliverables, timelines and terms. A selected proposal becomes a collaboration after the creator's final approval. Record changes from the brief in the agreement before starting work.
